Oma's Turkey Suffing

 Bread Stuffing


Mix together:


1 loaf of white bread broken into pieces (about 12 cups) 

2 eggs

¾ cup milk

⅓ cup chopped parsley

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

½ tbsp sage

½ tbsp poultry seasoning



Saute:


½ cup butter

¾  cup chopped celery

¾ cup chopped onion


Add to bread mixture when translucent


Optional:  add one link of chopped uncooked smoked sausage to mixture


Pour (up to 1 cup) chicken broth over mixture if you like it more moist. 


Put into casserole dish (or turkey), and bake at 350 for 45 minutes
